Record readiness

Every child and personnel record scores its own readiness from the items it should contain. A record climbs toward “ready” as those items are filled in, and drops when something expires or goes missing. It is a running picture of completeness, updated as you work.

Each expected item — a signed consent, an up-to-date immunization, an emergency contact — counts toward the record's score. Missing or expiring items surface at the top of the record and on your Today screen, so gaps come to you instead of waiting to be discovered.

Children and staff both have readiness. Child records track enrollment, health, and consents; personnel records track the credentials, clearances, and training your center keeps on file. The same clear complete-versus-missing view applies to both.

A missing item is a link, not a dead end. Open it, add what is needed, and the score updates immediately. Packets and exports pull from the same live record, so fixing a gap here fixes it everywhere.

Readiness is an informational aid, not a certification.A “ready” record means the items KhayrOS tracks are present — it does not certify that your center meets any legal or licensing standard. Your center remains responsible for verifying records and following your licensor's requirements.
