Getting started
From an empty account to running your day in KhayrOS — most centers get there within a week. Here is the path we recommend.
1. Set up your center
Add your center details and create your classrooms or rooms. Rooms are the backbone of the day — attendance, ratios, and coverage all flow from them — so it is worth getting them right first.
2. Invite your staff
Send invites and assign each person a role. Roles decide what someone can see and do, so teachers get a focused classroom view while directors see the whole center. You can adjust roles any time.
3. Enroll your first child
The guided intake walks you through everything a complete record needs, and saves at every step so you can stop and come back:
- Guardians and authorized pickups
- Health, allergies, and medications
- Consents and permissions
- Schedule and room placement
It ends with your review, and the child's profile stays the single organized place afterward.
4. Bring in families
Family accounts link to their own children and see only what your center chooses to share — daily reports, messages, announcements, and permissions. Families answer their own questions instead of calling the office.
5. Make Today your morning habit
Once your rooms, staff, and first records are in, the Today screen becomes your starting point each morning: who is here, which rooms need coverage, and which records need attention — with the next action one click away.
